Plan Your Sections Literature reviews should begin with a general introduction to the subject, keeping acronyms and complex terminology to a minimum. The research question/focus of your study should then be split into relevant sub-topics. For example, if your research question is 'What effect will the proposed climate change scenarios have on the UK blackcurrant industry?', this could be split into 6 sub-topics:
