What Will I Need? When you've got a clear idea of what research you're going to do and how you're going to do it, it's a good idea to spend a few minutes noting down what you'll need to help you carry out your research. This process will also help when you come to write up your research. Think about what equipment, facilities and raw material you may need. When you've got your list, the next step is to make sure you'll have access to everything you'll need. The first thing is to talk with your supervisor to agree a list of things you'll need access to - your supervisor will have a lot of experience so it's worth making sure you both know the resource implications of your planned research right from the start.
