Conducting ANOVAs A student project involved recording the biomass of plants found in three different habitats - grassland, wheat field and forest. The null hypothesis is that there is no effect of habitat on the biomass of plants. Can you conduct an ANOVA on the data and determine if the null hypothesis should be accepted or declined? Hint: remember to check to see if the data are normally distributed. An experiment was developed to investigate the effects of irrigation and fertilisation on plant biomass in one habitat. The null hypothesis is that irrigation and fertilisation have no effects on the plant biomass. Can you conduct an ANOVA on the data and determine if the null hypothesis should be accepted or declined? |
