The above outline exhibits the following characteristics:
- Title is descriptive but too long. The white shadow makes it difficult to read
- Good breakdown of the Introduction. Botanical/Latin names should be in italics
- "Methods and Materials" is not very descriptive. A better example would be "The effect of invasive plant species on pollinator activity"
- "Results" is not very descriptive. A better example would be "Results: Pollinator activity
- Good contrast between text and background colour. Could be enhanced by using a PowerPoint template.

The above outline exhibits the following characteristics:
- Good title: Descriptive but not too long
- Good to point out what the slide is about, but use "Presentation will cover" instead of "Session will consider"
- Does your audience know what SD stands for? Refer to it first by "Sustainable Development (SD)" then you can refer to it after this using SD
- Good use of a side menu. Make sure it doesn't interfere with the text on other slides
- There's plenty of room on the slide - space the three lines out more
- Good contrast between text and background colour, good use of a template to add extra colour.

- Watch the wording - "Definition of a systems approach" would be better than "Define what is meant by ... "
- Good spacing between bullet points
- Excellent use of photograph. Must be relevant to the text and of a high quality.
